Archiving:
This module allows collection and classification of the pictures that will be stored in the database image library.

The photos are stored
in a non-destructive compressed format in order to take less space on the hard disk.
The picture review
(film) will
display four items at a time with a number that indicates the order in the viewing
sequence.
The program is able to store
pictures from any Windows supported device, floppy, hard disk, or CD-ROM...
The frame indicates which picture is
the active slide, showing the corresponding database information below.
Every picture can be shown full
size with just a single mouse click.
It is possible to edit a picture before it is stored in the library using ZAP
Picture Tool.
Before a picture can be stored, it
must have at least one key word. New key words can be used dynamically, as they will enlarge the
selection choice for subsequent classification.
The voice
recording feature allows you to link an audio comment to the active picture.
Then in case of further multimedia presentation (slide show or AVI movie)
it will be used to comment the matching picture in the show.
Use the film display to remove
unwanted pictures.
In case you have to store several pictures using the same key words and comments, you can
re-use the same text to speed up the input, and of course you can also change a specific
input when you need to.
Using a TWAIN device allows you to get the pictures easily without pixel loss and
without renaming the files or saving them first to another directory. ZAP always use unique names for
TWAIN acquired pictures to preserve you from conflicting names.
Note: The
Standard version DOES NOT ALLOW the linking of a WinWord document to an
image.
